Getting a New Camera
Beside the price, I have also consider that I will probably need to carry the camera around, so something small will be more convenient, rather than the bulky DSLR.. so... have shortlist the following:
Sony W170
- 10.1 Mega Pixels with Super HAD CCD
- Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar Lens with 5x Optical Zoom
- Large 2.7" LCD Screen
- BIONZ Image Processing Engine
- Double “Anti-blur” Solution: Super SteadyShot and ISO 3200 High Sensitivity
- Face Detection Technology for Children and Adults
- Smile Shutter
- Intelligent Scene Recognition
- New Underwater Mode adjusts white balance in water
- In-camera retouching
- HD Slide Show with Select Music Playback
Initially also considering the Canon but the sales person very bo chap, not helpful and did not convince me that canon is better. His product knowledge KNS..
Gathering with colleagues
We went to this Zi Cha place at Elias Mall, a bit Ulu but the food not bad. We ordered Cereal Prawn, Coffee ribs, special tofu, steam soon hock, vege and the famous Crab Bee hoon, strongly recommended by Karen..
So the watress ask me 1 crab or 2 crabs, i said 1 enough liao, so she suggested 1 big one, i say ok. Tot since got 9 of us, 1 big crab is ok lar.... and when we happily finish the rest of the food, then came the "crab".. 1st reaction is : Wah Lau Eh.. Simi lai eh.... So big.... in front of me is a gigantic crab with the claw size of my palm.. The watress was smiling and said the crab came from sri lanka.. in my mind i was thinking, siao liao... this crab should have at least 3 kg.. well, since already order, eat lor...
Everyone seem to be very reluctunt to eat the crab at first, coz need to get the hands dirty mah.. so the guys use their hands lor and feed their beloved partner.. except me, Ariel and Karen....I choose the claw, think it should be the easiest to eat.. Bad decision..
The crab seem to be very tense when it was cooked coz the claw is clenched very tightly, i really need to whack the stupid claw with the "crab spanner" and even got my finger cut by the claw.. stupid me lor..
After finishing the food, we continue to talk cock, bitch about the work, make fun of each other.. really had a great time. Hopefully after my baby is born, can still meet up for such gathering.

Its a long weekend.
Fri:
After we pick up all of them, we had our lunch at Vivo City, 莆田兴化, in Food Republic. Food is great, although located inside a food court. Must try the "Lo Mee", fried beehoon, and shao bing..
For dinner, we had Zi ZHa near my place coz everyone was tired and wanted a early rest. But ordered too much food, eat until siao......
Sat:
We had light breakfast coz ate too much for dinner last nite. :P Initially wanted to go Sentosa but then the weather no good, so we change to shopping at Taka(boring for me, dad and bro in law), then we had lunch at Crystal Jade. Nice food, acceptable standard.
After lunch we proceed to shop shop shop... *Yawn.. finally decided to stop at 6plus and proceed to the Baby Fair at Singapore Expo( by the way, parking in Taka is really F!@#$$ EXP, cost me $21 for just 6 hrs!).. we have to queue for 35 mins before we get into the car park, car park slots all full, luckily managed to find a small gap at the side to squeeze my little Jazz.
The baby fair is really a disappointment.. I was hoping to see prams, cots, etc and then ended up all the big space are occuplied by Insurance companies.. only 2 small store exhibit their pathetic few prams and cots.. nothing much to see.. though i manage to get a thermometer for my baby..
Leave the fair after 30 mins, really nothing to see.. proceed to Dinner at Jumbo seafood ECP. The dinner is really sinful.. We had chili crab, shark fins soup, abalone with vege, fried rice, mee goreng, roasted chicken, sotong You Tiao, prawns w salted egg, otak otak... so much food that we need to ta pao the mee goreng..
Sun:
We had the left overs Mee Gorengs for breakfast.. and also some Ba Zhan.. then proceed to Toa Payoh to walk walk... nothing much to see then we proceed to China Town walk walk before going to Hung Kang for dinner, to celebrate Father's Day.
Food at Hung Kang Teochew Restuarant is good, Pure Teochew style, very fine..
Shark Fin, very nice
Shou Tao - for Father's Day special.. (I am also a father le.. :P)
Braised Goose with "Mei Cai" and bean curd- In House specialty.. very delicious.
Prawns with dunno wat "gua" but very nice
Abalone mushroon with brocoli, yum yum
Mushroom with also dunno wat kind of shrooms.. so so.
The Restaurant
My parents-in-law
Da Sao and son
(Left to Right: Eldest sis, youngest bro and his gf)
Me and wifey
The 3 sisters
Mon: Home Sweet Home
haiz.. good times always passes fast... time for all to say goodbye.. However.. we shall all meet very soon... in Sep, when my prince arrive, a new member to the family...... LOLZ...

Hair For Hope - 6 July 08
Hair for Hope is an event, which invites members of the public to shave their heads to show their support for children with cancer. Through this symbolic gesture, we aim to:
- Create awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore.
- Tell every child with cancer and their families that they are not alone in the fight against cancer and that there is nothing wrong about losing hair or being bald
- Raise funds to help children with cancer and their families
- Build a community of support for children with cancer
Why Shave Heads?
Patients’ hair loss, from treatments of cancer such as chemotherapy, is a representation of his or her courageous fight against cancer. Through the symbolic gesture of shaving our heads, we hope to lend moral support to all children with cancer, and to let them know that there is nothing wrong with being bald.
http://www.ccf.org.sg/hfh/index.phpI have missed the last 2 years, have always wanted to take part in this event.. hopefully I can take up the courage to do it this year. Anyone want to join me???
Dedicate this song to our baby..
無與倫比的美麗, to all the babies and parents/parents to be.. "你若担心你不能飞,你有我的蝴蝶..."
26 Weeks le!
